Nazmum is a paralegal at Bangladesh National Woman Lawyers' Association (BNWLA).  Nazmum along with a group of dedicated women lawyers spend their days working through endless cases of domestic violence, sexual abuse, labor rights, child labor issues in Kamrangirchar an area of 3.63 sq km, home to nearly half a million people. Photo commissioned by War on Want for 'Women are the resistance'.

Salma is exec director of the Bangladesh National Women Lawyers' Association (BNWLA). BNWLA promotes the rights and status of women lawyers alongside fighting for access to justice for all women & children particularly for the most disadvantaged women and children in Bangladesh.
